Netanyahu affirms to the Knesset that settlement building work will continue

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed before the Knesset Monday that settlement building works will continue in Jerusalem. This, in the midst of a diplomatic crisis which erupted between his country and the United States because of its settlement policy in east Jerusalem and the announcement by the Interior Minister of approval for 1,600 housing units in east Jerusalem during a visit by the American Vice President Joe Biden to Israel.
